Prayer for Haiti special event was held on Sunday evening on January 24, 2010. Stan McConnell, the "singing highway patrolman," sang praises to Jesus as the Amber Mission Church and Amber First Baptist Church joined together to pray for Haiti and conduct a fundraiser for House of Compassion orphanage in Haiti.
On December 6, 2009 the Sanctuary Singers presented "Christmas is a Birthday" cantata to approximately 130 residents of the Amber/Pocasset community. The church hospitality team hosted a Christmas dinner for all who attended immediately following the musical presentation.
The church held the "Going Deeper with God" conference, hosted by Dr. Gregory Frizzell, on November 21-22; seeking spiritual renewal through spiritual cleansing and a deepening relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ.
