The descriptions and requirements listed below represent only a partial list of those within the job description. Positions available
Position: Part-time Youth Minister (Available March 15, 2010)
Description:
- Plan and lead youth ministry (middle school and high school) events coordinated with the pastor and Youth Committee
- Teach Youth Sunday School, plus Sunday and Wednesday evening Youth Discipleship classes
- Camp director for Falls Creek or other Youth summer camp
- Establish personal presence within AMPO high school by attending school events and interacting with youth and their parents
Requirements:
- Some college education
- Passion for reaching youth for Christ and teaching them to obey all that Jesus commands
- Regular personal Bible study and devotional life
- Committed to prayer and the unity of the Body of Christ
- A demonstration of calling to the ministry
- A personal testimony of Christ's Lordship
- Basic knowledge of the primary doctrines of the Christian faith found within the Bible
